DMCA & Content Removal

Filing a DMCA Takedown Notice

If you believe your copyrighted work has been posted on our platform without authorization, you may file a DMCA takedown notice. To be valid under 17 U.S.C. § 512(c), your notice must include all of the following:

• Identification of the copyrighted work — describe the original work you claim has been infringed, or provide a link to it
• Infringing URL(s) — the specific HoodAsia page URL(s) containing the material you want removed
• Your contact information — full legal name, email address, and phone number
• Good faith statement — "I have a good faith belief that the use of the material is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law"
• Accuracy statement — "I swear, under penalty of perjury, that the information in this notification is accurate and that I am the copyright owner or am authorized to act on behalf of the owner"
• Signature — your physical or electronic signature

Privacy-Based Removal

If you appear in a video and wish to have it removed for personal safety or privacy reasons (even if you are not the copyright holder), we will review your request on a case-by-case basis. Please provide:

• The URL of the video in question
• A clear description of why the content should be removed
• Proof of identity (if applicable — kept strictly confidential)

We aim to respond to all privacy removal requests within 48 hours.

Counter-Notification

If you believe content was removed in error or that you have the right to post the material, you may file a counter-notification containing:

• Identification of the material that was removed and its former location
• A statement under penalty of perjury that the material was removed by mistake or misidentification
• Your name, address, phone number, and consent to jurisdiction of federal court
• Your physical or electronic signature

Counter-notifications are processed in accordance with DMCA § 512(g). The removed content may be restored within 10–14 business days unless the original complainant files a court action.

Repeat Infringers

HoodAsia maintains a repeat infringer policy. Users who are the subject of three or more valid DMCA takedown notices may have their submission privileges permanently revoked.
